Job Description:
Full Time 8A-4:30P Day Bachelor's Current Licensure 3 years Requires baccalaureate degree in nursing from an accredited School of Nursing and three years of acute care oncology experience as a registered nurse. Responsible for coordinating the total scope of care for a group of patients throughout their unit stay to achieve clinical, financial, and organizational outcomes. Provides direct patient care based on the nursing process, and mentors and manages others to promote quality and excellence of care. Works collaboratively with, and provides leadership for, a multidisciplinary health care team to optimize team performance.
Promotes improvement in unit and organizational systems to benefit patient care. Incorporates and operationalizes goals and objectives of Hospital at the site of patient care. May assume unit management functions as designated by the Nurse Manager. May focus in the area of clinical practice, education or administration.
