PRN 8:45am - 2:00 pm Mon/Fri & 8:45 am - 3:45 pm Wed Days
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Pulmonary and Cardiac Rehabilitation Registered Respiratory Therapist is responsible for assessing and treating clients for pulmonary/cardiac rehabilitation, including intake, exercise, education, and counseling within their scope of practice and according to departmental policies and procedures. The RRT assesses the effectiveness and responses to interventions and documents according to established standards. The RRT must quickly and effectively respond to medical emergencies in a clinic setting and may be required to assist with scheduling, clinic clerical tasks, and quality improvement monitoring.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Graduate of AMA Accredited program in respiratory care.
2. RRT
3. Maryland licensure or eligible
4. ACLS certification required by end of 90-day introductory period. Subsequent Renewals required every 2 years.
5. Pulmonary/Cardiac rehabilitation experience preferred.
